On the initiative of the Dresdner Musikfestspiele, a scientific academy was established, which independently researches the work of Richard Wagner with a new international view. Built on three branches, the Richard Wagner Academy focuses on research and education, while performances take place under "The Wagner Cycles".
We developed a coherent brand concept with two respective logos, both consisting out of one three-dimensional object, viewed from two angles – frontal and lateral. Looking from the front, you see a spiral, which likewise encloses the "C" for "The Wagner Cycles" as a logo. In the side view, you can see a wave, which takes up the "W" and the "A" in its shape and therefore represents the logo of the Richard-Wagner-Academy.
